on Cable Protector, then quickly place

Rubber Pad over the post and slot on cable

RUBBER PAD INSTALLATION

Four through-holes with an inside diameter of .21” can be used with either nails or screws (not included) for

temporary mounting of cable protector:*

• Washer with a minimum outside diameter of .75” should be used with each nail or screw.

• Through-holes use a threaded insert, but the threaded insert is not designed for the use with a bolt.

• When temporarily mounting on a sloped surface, the hinge barrel must be on the uphill side of the slope.

• When temporarily mounting on a flat surface, the hinge barrel must be facing the direction of traffic.

• To easily remove the protector when nailed down, use a pry bar in the pry slots under each through-hole.
*due to variables associated with mounting, we highly recommend testing the hardware for each application.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS*
