The Posey Incontinence Pad is designed for use whenever an incontinent bed pad is needed. The
multi-layer construction ensures that the pad will absorb moisture, without penetrating
through the backing and onto the patient’s bedding. Provides superior absorption and wicking
properties, to help protect both the patient’s skin and bedding from urine. The 8005A is
designed with pockets to fit the 8007 Support Surface. One per package; Case qty. of two.

Application Instructions:
The Posey Incontinence Pad should be positioned under the patient with the blue side (Fig. 1)
facing down. If using inside of the Posey Bed with sheet openings (8000, 8050 only), thread
each of the four attached straps through the small green bordered openings on the sides of
the enclosure. Attach the securing clips from the mattress compartment of the Posey Bed to
the pad (Fig. 2), to help keep the pad in place. Once the pad is in place, check to ensure that
the patient cannot become trapped under the pad.
