Note: Remove sticker from display before use.
Note: In the following instructions, names of the control
buttons are shown in CAPS. Function information that appears
on the display is shown in BOLD CAPS.
Battery Installation
Battery is installed. Remove plastic tab to allow
power. Replace battery when LCD becomes dim
or alarm level declines.
1. Remove battery cover on the back by sliding it
in the direction of the arrow.
2. Install one 1.5V AAA battery observing polarity
shown in compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover until it clicks shut.
Operating Instructions
A. Count Down
1. Rotate base in either direction slowly for
10-second increments. Rotate fast for 1-minute
increments.
2. Press START/STOP to start counting down.
3. Press the START/STOP button to interrupt the
count. Press START/STOP again to resume
the count.
4. The alarm sounds and the timer counts up
when the count reaches 00:00.
5. Press START/STOP to stop the alarm and
the count up. The last count is recalled.
6. When the timer is stopped, rotate base DIAL
in the appropriate direction or press the RESET
button on the bottom to reset to 00:00.
B. Count Up
1. When the timer is stopped, reset to 00:00.

2. Press START/STOP to begin the count up
to a maximum of 99:59 minutes.
3. Press START/STOP to interrupt the count.
Press START/STOP again to resume the count.

• Avoid exposing your timer to extreme
temperatures, water or severe shock.
• Avoid contact with any corrosive materials such as
perfume, alcohol or cleaning agents.
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
