Motorized Hand Held Mister

The sprayer is shipped to you with Safety Lock in the ON position for

packaging needs. Keep the Safety Lock in LOCK position when storing
or changing fluid bottles or batteries.

Straighten pick up tube before attaching multi-purpose sprayer to

container.

Select SPRAY or STREAM by turning nozzle before use.

Pull trigger, wait several seconds for fluid to prime. Try not to oversaturate

your terrarium with water as it is better to get the terrarium plants and
substrate “slightly wet.” Check the humidity level 30-60 minutes later and
repeat if higher humidity is still needed. Always use a good quality
humidity gauge to monitor your terrarium humidity level. Read a good
care book on the particular species of reptile/amphibian you are keeping
to obtain the proper humidity level information.

To Increase Humidity:

1. Increase substrate depth (Zoo Med’s Eco Earth

®

is a good choice).

2. Cover half the top of your terrarium to keep the heat/humidity

inside terrarium.

3. Increase heat and amount of water you are spraying.

To Decrease Humidity:

1. Decrease heat (but still keep in the safe recommended range for your

reptile/amphibian).

2. Increase ventilation–does your terrarium have a full screen top?
3. Spray less water, less often.

To STORE sprayer always move the Safety Lock to the LOCK position.

If the spray is inconsistent the nozzle may be partially blocked. Flush with

warm water.

If the sprayer motor does not run, check batteries for correct polarity in the

battery hatch, as shown.

If the sprayer motor runs but does not spray, replace old batteries with

new batteries, do not mix old with new.

The sprayer is packaged with the batteries installed. For best results,

remove the batteries, wipe dry and reinstall before use. Condensation may
occur during shipment.
