“Density Altitude” screen data is calculated from the

absolute values of station pressure, relative humidity and

temp., and is not affected by the reference values entered in

the “Baro” and “Altitude” screens.

To transfer your Kestrel’s real-time and logged data

wirelessly and automatically to a laptop or PDA,

follow these set up steps.

ENABLE THE KESTREL’S BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY

• Press to enter the Main Menu.

to highlight “Bluetooth,” then

• Use or to change from “Off/Disabled” to “On/

Ready”.

For added security, each Kestrel comes with a

unique PIN and ID number to ensure proper

pairing.
In the Bluetooth screen:
• Use

to highlight “Info,” then press to view

your unique ID and PIN.
