3.7 Update Firmware

3.7.1 UPDATE CONFIGURATION

Web Update: Updates the application or
configuration files of the phone. The telephone’s
firmware is in a .z format and the configuration
files are in a .txt format.

Click the “Browse” button (left of Update) to
open the firmware (.z) file or the configuration
file xxx.3300IP.txt), then click on the “Update”
button. After the upgrade, the E Series phone will
automatically restart.
FTP Update: Upload or download the configuration
file with an FTP or TFTP server. Or download
firmware from an FTP or TFTP server. Back up
the configuration file to your FTP/TFTP server.
The configuration file uses a .txt extension.

The “Type” includes two parts: a configuration
file export and a configuration file import.

Configuration File Export: Exports the
configuration file.
Configuration File Import: Imports the
configuration file.

The E Series phone supports FTP and TFTP
auto updating. The gateway will automatically

obtain the configuration file from your updated
server if it is configured. To obtain the original

up as described above. Put the configuration file
in the root directory of the updated server when
finished editing.
