2. Highlight PTT and press the Select soft key or the
key.
3. Highlighted is PTT Contacts and press the Select soft
key or the key.
4. PTT Contact list displays.
PTT Contact Options
Ⅵ Press the Options soft key to display the following
options:
• Call Me Alert: this option allows you to send a message to
an individual in your PTT Contacts whose status is Available,
Silent/Vibrate, or Do Not Disturb. A message is displayed on
their Idle screen “Please Call <X>”. Where <X> equals the
name stored in their Contact List. Recipients can press their
PTT key to return your call.
• Search: this option allows you to search an individual or
group from the list by name.
• Quick Group: this option allows you to make a group call
without pre-establishing it in your PTT Contacts. Once Quick
Group is selected a list of your available individuals will
appear. Use the center
to mark the call participants and
then press the PTT key to begin the group call.
• Voice Message: this option allows you to leave a voice
message for the person or group instantly. Highlight the
name or names and press and hold the
PTT key to begin
recording. Release the PTT key to end and send the
recording.
• View: this option displays the contact name and number. See
"PTT Icons" on page 152.
• Add Contact: this option allows you to add contacts to your
PTT Contact list.
• Edit: this option lets you rename the individual.
