Inserting the battery and memory card
Learn how to insert or remove the battery and an optional memory card
into the camera.
Memory card
Insert a memory card with the
gold-colored contacts facing up.
Rechargeable battery
Insert the battery with the gold-
colored contacts facing left.
Removing the battery and memory card
Rechargeable battery
Battery lock
Slide the lock up to release the
battery.
Memory card
Push the card gently until it
disengages from the camera, and
then pull it out of the slot.
Using the memory card adapter
To read data with a PC or memory card reader, insert the memory
card into a memory card adapter.
While the status lamp of the camera is blinking, do not remove the memory card
or battery. Doing so may damage the data stored on the memory card or your
camera.
