• Set your location to manually set a location for yourself on the
map. This does not have to be your actual location.
• Hide your location so friends can not see your current location.
5. From within the Suggested Friends page, press and
then tap an available application option such as: Refresh
friends, See map, Add friends, or Privacy.
6. From the main application page, press and then tap
an available application option such as: Search, Directions,
Starred Places, Clear Map, Latitude, or More (Labs, Help,
Terms, Privacy & Notices, and About).
Lookout
Lookout™ provides mobile device-specific security features that
are coupled with a minimal performance hit. Lookout Mobile
Security provides key security options that are unique to the
mobile market. Along with the antivirus and anti-malware tech,
there's a lost and stolen phone locator service, an application
privacy adviser, and a backup service.
1. From the Home screen, tap (Applications) ➔
(Lookout).
2. Read the on-screen description and tap Get started.
3. Verify Enable security has a green checkmark, tap Next.
• Enable security automatically scans every app you install, and
performs a full scan of all the apps on your device on a weekly
basis.
4. Verify Enable Backup has a green checkmark, tap Next.
• Enable Backup automatically backs up your data on either a weekly
or daily basis and if necessary, restores your data to a new device.
5. Read the Missing Device information and tap either New
user or Existing user and follow the on-screen instructions
to also enable GPS location functionality.
