Power-on/Off (Exit) key ends a call. Press and hold for two seconds to turn the phone on or off. While in the

Menu mode, it returns the phone to Idle mode and cancels your input.

Display shows all the information needed to operate your phone, such as the received signal strength,

phone battery level, date, and time.

Light sensors use the light levels to adjust both screen brightness and contrast, and keypad access. Also

determine whether the user is holding the phone at a 40 degree angle or tilting the phone, then displays

either the portrait or landscape screens accordingly.

In bright light conditions (outdoors) the phone increases keypad brightness and contrast for better viewing.

In a dark light condition (while talking on the phone) the phone locks the keypad to prevent accidental key presses.
