Call Emergency Numbers in Lock Mode
In Lock Mode, you can dial 911 to place an emergency call.
Note: If you dial 911, your phone dials the emergency number immediately
(no prompt).
System Select
The System Select menu allows you to set your roaming options.
For more information, refer to “Roaming Options” on page 24.
NAM Selection
Your phone provides the option of selecting between two NAMs
(Number Assignment Modules) or phone numbers. Select either
NAM1 or NAM2.
1. Slide the phone up and touch MENU. Touch the
Directional key to highlight the
Settings & Tools menu and touch . Press
Phone Settings.
2. Press NAM Selection. The following options
appear in the display:
• NAM Selection
• Auto NAM Select
3. Make your selection and touch .
Quick Search
Quick Search is an easy way to locate contacts in your Address
Book and Menu items.
1. Slide the phone up and touch MENU. Touch the
Directional key to highlight the
Settings & Tools menu and touch . Press
Phone Settings.
2. Press Quick Search.
3. Touch the right soft key Info to display detail
information about Quick Search. Touch to return to
Quick Search Menu. Select On or Off and touch .
Searching for a Contact
Note: Quick Search must be turn on to perform the procedures listed below.
1. Slide the phone up and press the first three numeric keys
that correspond to the letters of the contacts name. For
example, to search for “Sally” you would enter:
