S
etting Up the Video
1 Press the MENU button.
2 Use the UP/DOWN button to
select Video, then press the
ENTER button.
3 Use the UP/DOWN button to
select the desired item.
Press ENTER.
4 Use the LEFT/RIGHT button to
select the desired item. Press ENTER.
TV Aspect
Depending on the type of television you have, you may want to adjust
the screen setting (aspect ratio).
1. Letter Box :
Select when you want to see the total 16:9 ratio screen DVD
supplies, even though you have a TV with a 4:3 ratio screen.
Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen.
2. Pan-Scan :
Select this for conventional size TVs when you want to see the
central portion of the 16:9 screen. (Extreme left and right side of
movie picture will be cut off.)
3. Wide :
You can view the full 16:9 picture on your widescreen TV.
Screen Fit
Y ou can view your picture either letter boxed(with bars), or stretch the picture
to fit the screen.
Black Level
Adjusts the brightness of the screen.(On/Off)
Front Display
Adjust the brightness of the unit’s front panel display.
1. Bright : Makes the Front Panel Display bright.
2. Dim : Makes the Front Panel Display dim.
3. Auto : Makes the Front Panel Display dim automatically when playing a DVD.
5 Press the EXIT button twice or the MENU button again,
and the MENU screen will disappear.

etting Up the Audio
1 Press the MENU button.
2 Use the UP/DOWN button to select
AUDIO. Press the ENTER button.
3 Use the UP/DOWN button to
select the desired item.
Press ENTER.
4 Use the LEFT/RIGHT button to
select the desired item.
Press ENTER.
Digital Output
- PCM : Converts to PCM (2CH) 48KHz/16Bit audio.
Select PCM when using the Analog Audio Outputs.
- Bitstream : Converts to Dolby Digital Bitstream (5.1CH).
Select Bitstream when using the Digital Audio Output.
LPCM 96 KHz · 48 KHz (ON/OFF)
- For discs recorded with 96 KHz Linear PCM, you must change 96KHZ(Off) to 48KHz(On)
for analog and digital output.
PCM won’t be output when it is set to LPCM 96 KHz.
DTS
- On : Outputs DTS Bitstream via digital output only. Select DTS when connecting to
a DTS Decoder.
- Off : Doesn’t output DTS signal.
Dynamic Compression
- On : To select dynamic compression.
- Off : To select the standard range.
Analog 2X Scan Audio
- On : Turns analog 2X scan audio on.
2X Scan Audio does not work using the digital output.
- Off : Turns analog 2X scan audio off.
