Messages
Your phone’s advanced messaging capabilities let you send and receive many different kinds of
text messages without placing a voice call.
Message Settings
Your phone's messaging settings include message notification, providing a callback number and
customized signature with your message, the option to reset the messaging envelope, and the
auto-combination setting to view messages in a single thread.
Setting Message Notification
When you receive a message, your phone notifies you by displaying an icon on your display
screen. You can also choose to be notified with a message notification on your display screen.
1. Press
> Messages > Settings > Notification.
2. Select Message & Icon or Icon Only.
Setting a Callback Number
You can
add a phone number in the heading which informs the recipient of alternate means to
respond to the message.
