*IPS-ZC1 interfaces to PA601 amplifier in IDF/MDF location. PA601
amplifier will power a single zone of up to (40) APF-15T loudspeakers
set to 1 watt power tap each. This configuration will to provide up to
80dB SPL @ 50' from each APF-15T device in the zone.

ENCLOSURE IS NOT INCLUDED.

ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS

Unit shall be Atlas Sound Model IHVP. The loudspeaker system shall
include factory assembled horn loudspeaker, IP addressable PCB
amplifier/control and cast aluminum alloy baffle. Loudspeaker shall be
Atlas Sound Model APF-15. Unit shall be double re-entrant type with
compression driver mounted within vandal-resistant housing. Audio
power capability shall be 15 watts continuous. Frequency response
shall be 600-14,000 Hz (nominal), 700-5,500 Hz (± 5 dB). Sound
pressure leval shall be 104 dB (1 W / 1 M). Sound dispersion angle
shall be 95°. Loudspeaker mounting shall be by eight .1875" (4.76 mm)
evenly spaced holes. Model APF-15 dimension shall be 5

Dia. x 3.4375" (87 mm) Deep with 6.9375" (176 mm) Dia. flange. Finish
shall be grey baked epoxy. The IP addressable PCB amplifier/control
shall be mounted to the rear of the loudspeaker baffle via concealed
weld studs. The amplifier/control PCB shall be capable of producing
9 watts RMS with a minimum of 9VDC power provided either locally

or via Cisco IEEE 802.3AF compliant POE switches. Interconnect
shall be via female RJ-45 connector mounted to the PCB. All control
functionality of the PCB amplifier shall be determined via software. The
metal loudspeaker baffle overall dimensions shall be 12.88" (327 mm)
wide by 14.38" (365 mm) tall. Construction shall be cast from self-aging
aluminum alloy with a tensile strength of 44,000 P.S.I. Assembly shall
include provisions to mount the re-entrant horn. 22-gauge perforated
stainless screen shall be spot welded over the loudspeaker cut-out.
Flush-mounting tamperproof heat-treated alloy screws and a special
wrench shall be furnished. Dimensions shall be 10.75" (237 mm)
square by .75" (19 mm) deep (not including weld stuf depth.) Baffle
finish shall be textured white epoxy. Optional enclosures shall include
white stainless steel surface mount model SEST-IH and flush mount
model FEST-IH (unfinished.)
