3. Set the "Flow Control" parameter to Auto, Disabled, Rx Enabled,

Rx & Tx Enabled, or Tx Enabled.


The default setting is Auto.

Updating the Interrupt

Moderation property

The “Interrupt Moderation” property will cause the network device to
send interrupt requests only after multiple packets have been received
and not immediately upon receipt of a packet.

1. In Microsoft Windows, right-click the Network Adapter in

Network Connections and then click Properties.

2. Click the Configure button and then the Advanced tab.
3. Set the "Interrupt Moderation" parameter to Disable or Enable.


The default setting is Enable.

Updating the IPv4

Checksum Offload

property

The “IPv4 Checksum offload” property allows the checksum to be
computed by the Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

1. In Microsoft Windows, right-click the Network Adapter in

Network Connections and then click Properties.

2. Click the Configure button and then the Advanced tab.
3. Set the IPv4 Checksum Offload parameter to Disable, RX & TX

Enabled, RX Enabled, or TX Enabled.


The default setting is RX & TX Enabled

Updating the Jumbo

MTU property

The "Jumbo MTU" property allows the adapter to transmit and receive
oversized Ethernet frames that are greater than 1514 bytes but less
than 9000 bytes in length. Note that this parameter requires a switch
that is able to process large frames.

1. In Microsoft Windows, right-click the Network Adapter in

Network Connections, and then click Properties.

2. Click the Configure button and then the Advanced tab.
3. Jumbo MTU is set at 1500 bytes by default. To increase the size

of the received frames, increase the byte quantity in 500-byte
increments up to 9000 bytes.


The default setting is 1500.

Updating the Large

Send Offload (IPv4)

The “Large Send Offload (IPv4)” property allows the TCP segmentation
to be done by the Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

1. In Microsoft Windows, right-click the Network Adapter in

Network Connections and then click Properties.

2. Click the Configure button and then the Advanced tab.
3. Set the "Large Send Offload (IPv4)" parameter to Disable or

Enable.


The default setting is Enable.
