6 INTEGRATING AT-VIEW PLUS 3.0 WITH SNMP

The AT-View Plus 3.0 installer automatically detects if SNMPc is installed and will perform the necessary
integration so that AT-View Plus 3.0 can be started from within SNMPc. If AT-View Plus 3.0 is installed
before SNMPc, integration will not take place. Reinstallation of AT-View Plus 3.0 will be required.
When SNMPc is running, double clicking on a device that is not supported by AT-View Plus launches
SNMPc’s BitView program. Double clicking on a device supported by AT-View Plus launches the AT-View
Plus application and loads the information for the selected device.
If you are using SNMPc version 5.1.6c and you launched SNMPc for the first time after integration with
AT-View Plus 3.0, a message box appears informing you that the newly detected MIB files will be
compiled. Click Done after compilation process is completed. For SNMPc version 6.0 and 7.0,
compilation of MIB files is done automatically.
If a device icon is displayed as a computer in SNMPc, double clicking it may not launch AT-View Plus 3.0.
In this case, poll the device to change its icon to an ATI product icon then double click the icon again.
