To Install

Caution: Be sure power is off at the main breaker box prior to
installation.

1. Carefully unpack the fixture from the carton.
2. Thread the 2” long nipple (B) into the crossbar (A) until there is

approximately 1 ½” protruding out of the crossbar (A) and
secure with thick lock nut (D). Thread thin lock nut (C) onto the
nipple (B) until snug to the back of crossbar (A) (Figure 1).

3. Using two machine screws (not provided) attach crossbar (A) to the

electric box.

replacing a fixture, retain the screws for use with the new fixture.

4. Run wires through nipple (B) and using suitable wire connectors (not

provided), connect the fixture wires to the supply wires, (white to
white, black to black, bare copper or green to bare copper or green).
Ground the crossbar using the green ground screw (E) to secure a
pigtail lead to the bracket. If the fixture is wired with twin lead lamp
cord, connect the ribbed side to white, and the smooth side to black.

Caution: Make sure wire connectors are twisted on securely and no
bare wires are exposed.

5. Loosen set screw (G) installed into fixture (F).
6. Slip fixture (F) on nipple (B) until firm against wall.
7. Making sure fixture (F) is straight and level; tighten set screw (G) using
