MCW-NBMAX Installation Guide
1. Remove both retention screws from the Asus “Fusion” water-block as shown in Figure 1 then firmly lift the water-
block from the motherboard. The block might still adhere to the motherboard because the thermal grease creates a
strong bond with the contact area. If necessary, twist the block back and forth until you shake it loose.
2. Clean-off the contact surface with denatured alcohol, or with an electronics degreaser
3. Apply the provided Arctic Céramique thermal compound to the MCW-NBMAX contact surface. Thorough application
instructions are available here:
4. Install the MCW-NBMAX onto the contact area, lining up the Swiftech Logo for right-reading as shown in Figure 2,
and fasten the block with the provided screws and Allen wrench.
Installation is complete! Always test your system for leaks prior to powering-up your computer!
