SPEKTRUM MICRO PRO RECEIVER • BINDING PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT!

To achieve the lightest possible weight and smallest size, Spektrum’s
Micro Receiver utilizes a removable bind plug during the binding process.
Binding is necessary to teach the receiver the code of the specific
transmitter so that the receiver will operate from that specific transmitter
only. During binding the servo’s fail safe positions are also programmed.

To Bind the Micro Receiver:

With the transmitter and receiver power off, insert the bind plug into the
battery/bind port on the receiver labeled B.

Power up the receiver by turning on the electronic speed control (electric
cars) or turn on the battery switch (gas car). Note that the LED will flash
continuously indicating that the receiver is ready to bind.

With the throttle and the steering channels set to the desired failsafe
positions, (normally neutral steering and slight brakes) press and hold the
bind button on the back of the module while turning on the transmitter.

After several seconds the receiver’s LCD will change to a continuous glow
indicating that a successful bind has been achieved.

Remove the bind plug before using the system.
