• Flash is off. Note that fl ash turns off automatically
when:
◆ The mode dial is set to (landscape assist),
( sports assist), or ( movie), or to (scene)
mode with any of Sunset, Night landscape,
Museum, Fireworks show, or Dusk/
Dawn selected in scene menu
◆ Continuous is set to option other than Single
◆ BSS is on

• USB item in setup menu set to PTP when camera con-
nected to computer running Windows 2000 Profes-
sional, Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Windows
98 Second Edition (SE), or Mac OS 9.
• Camera is not registered in Device Manager (Windows
only).
