Choose the length of the shutter release delay and the number
of shots taken (

0 33).

• Self-timer delay: Choose the length of the shutter-release delay.

• Number of shots: Press

1 and 3 to choose the number of shots

taken each time the shutter-release button is pressed (from 1
to 9; if a value other than 1 is selected, shots will be taken at
4 s intervals).

Choose how long the camera will remain before cancelling the
currently selected remote control release mode and restoring
the previously selected release mode (

0 31). Choose shorter

times for longer battery life.

Choose the pitch (High or Low) of the beep that sounds when the camera focuses
using single-servo AF (AF-S or when single-servo AF is selected for AF-A;

0 35), when

focus locks in live view, while the release timer is counting down in self-timer and
delayed remote release modes (

0 33), and when a photograph is taken in quick-

response remote mode (

0 33). Select Off to prevent the beep from sounding. Note

that a beep will not sound during movie recording (

0 88), or in quiet-shutter release

mode (mode

J; 0 31).

The current setting is shown in the information display:

3 is

displayed when the beep is on,

2 when it is off.
