Randomly spaced bright pixels
(“noise”) appear in image.

Shutter speed too slow. Noise can be reduced by:
Using flash
Specifying a lower ISO sensitivity setting

applied to areas not affected by red-eye. Use any
other scene mode other than e Night
portrait
, and change the flash to any other
settings other than V (auto with red-eye
reduction) and try shooting again.
