ジャーです。他のバッテリーの充電には使用で
きません。

カメラの使用直後（特に高温での使用時）な
どは、バッテリー内部の温度が高くなる場合が
あります。この状態では、充電ができなかった
り、または不完全な充電になるばかりでなく、
バッテリーの性能が劣化する原因になります。
バッテリーの温度が下がるのを待ってから、充
電してください。
3 バッテリーの先端（端子側）を本体にある
ガイドラインに合わせて置き、矢印の方向
にカチッと音がして止まるまでスライドさ
せて装着します（図 2-b）。装着と同時に
充電が始まります。
表示ランプと充電状況は次のように対応して
います。
このとき、CAL 表示ランプを含むすべての
表示ランプは消灯しています。
4 充電が完了したら、上記 3 と逆の手順で
バッテリーをクイックチャージャーから取
りはずし、電源プラグをコンセントから抜
きます。
■ Li-ion リチャージャブルバッテリー
EN-EL4 装着時に CAL 表示ランプ
が点滅した場合
CAL 表示ランプは、バッテリーの容量表示を
より正確に表示するためにキャリブレーショ
ンを行う必要がある場合に、約 10 秒間点滅
します。CAL 表示ランプが点滅しているとき
に、CAL 表示ランプの下側にあるキャリブレー
ションボタンを約 1 秒押すと、キャリブレー
ションが開始されます。キャリブレーション
が完了すると、CAL 表示ランプおよびすべて
の表示ランプが消灯し、ただちに充電が始ま
ります。
キャリブレーションに必要な時間の目安は次
のとおりです。
CAL 表示ランプが点滅した場合は、バッテリー
の容量を正確に測定するため、キャリブレー
ションを行うことをおすすめします。ただし、
CAL 表示ランプが点滅しても、必ずしもキャ
リブレーションボタンを押してバッテリーの
キャリブレーションを行う必要はありません。
また、キャリブレーションは途中で中断する
ことも可能です。
• CAL 表示ランプの点滅時にキャリブレーション
ボタンを押さなかった場合は、約 10 秒後に通
常の充電が開始されます。
• 途中でキャリブレーションを中断する場合は、
再度キャリブレーションボタンを押します。測
定が中断され、充電が開始されます。
こんな時は…
・バッテリーを装着していないのに表示ランプ
が点滅する
クイックチャージャーに異常が発生しまし
た。ただちに電源プラグをコンセントから抜
いて、ニコンサービスセンターに修理を依頼
してください。
・バッテリー装着時に CAL 表示ランプを含む
すべての表示ランプが点滅する
充電時にバッテリーまたはクイックチャー
ジャーの異常が発生しました。ただちにバッ
テリーを取りはずし、電源プラグをコンセン
トから抜いた後、ニコンサービスセンターに
修理を依頼してください。

ご使用の前に、本書および Li-ion リチャージャ
ブルバッテリー EN-EL4 の使用説明書をよく
お読みください。
• ご購入されたときは、フル充電されていません。
ご使用の前に充電してください。
• 周囲の温度が 0℃以下または 40℃を超える場
所で使用しないでください。バッテリーの性能
が劣化したり、故障の原因となります。
• 充電が完了したバッテリーを続けて再充電しな
いでください。バッテリー性能が劣化します。
• 万一、異常に熱くなる、煙が出る、こげ臭い
などの異常や不具合が起きたときは、すぐに使
用を中止して販売店またはニコンサービスセン
ターに修理を依頼してください。

EN-EL4 の充電方法
1 電源コードの AC プラグをクイックチャー
ジャーの AC プラグ差込み口に差し込みま
す（図 2-a）。
2 電源プラグをコンセントに差し込みます。

besitzt eine Kalibrierungsfunktion und

Kalibrierung
Durch die Kalibrierung ist eine präzise
Bestimmung und Anzeige der Ladeka-
pazität möglich.
Lithium-Ionen-Akku EN-EL4
Der Lithium-Ionen-Akku EN-EL4 be-
sitzt eine Diagnoseschnittstelle, über
die das Akkuladegerät MH-21 den
aktuellen Ladezustand des Akkus
auslesen kann.
Bitte lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme
des Akkuladegeräts diese Anleitung und
die Dokumentation zum Lithium-Ionen-
Akku EN-EL4 aufmerksam durch.

Hinweise zum Akkuladegerät
MH-21
✔ WICHTIG
Mit dem MH-21 dürfen Sie nur
Lithium-Ionen-Akkus vom Typ Ni-
kon EN-EL4 aufl aden. Versuchen
Sie niemals, andere Akkutypen
mit dem MH-21 aufzuladen.
• Laden Sie keine Akkus mit dem MH-21
auf, die in dieser Anleitung nicht ge-
nannt sind.
• Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steck-
dose, wenn Sie das Akkuladegerät nicht
benutzen.
Hinweise zum Lithium-Ionen-

• Die ab Werk ausgelieferten Nikon-Akkus
sind aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht voll-
stän dig aufgeladen. Bitte laden Sie Ihren
Akku auf, bevor Sie ihn verwenden.
• Beim Aufl aden des Akkus sollte die Um-
ge bungs tem pe ra tur zwischen 0 °C und
40 °C liegen. Eine höhere oder niedrige-
re Umgebungstemperatur während des
La de vor gangs kann zur Folge haben,
dass der Akku nicht die volle Kapazität
erreicht oder kein einwandfreier Betrieb
des Akkus ge währ lei stet ist.
• Laden Sie keinen Akku auf, der bereits
vollständig aufgeladen ist. Ein Über-
laden kann die Leistung des Akkus
mindern.
• Bei Rauch- oder ungewohnter Ge-
ruchs ent wick lung sollten Sie das
Akkuladegerät sofort vom Stromnetz
trennen, um einem möglichen Brand
vorzubeugen. Bitte wen den Sie sich
zur Beseitigung der Störungen an
Ihren Fachhändler oder an den Nikon-
Kundendienst.

1 Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an das
Ak ku la de ge rät an (Abb. 2-a).
2 Stecken Sie anschließend den Netz-
stec ker in die Steckdose.
3 Führen Sie den Akku in Pfeilrichtung
und mit den Anschlüssen zuerst in
das Ladegerät ein. Richten Sie den
Akku dabei an der Führung aus und
schieben Sie ihn soweit in das Lade-
gerät hinein, bis er hörbar einrastet
(Abb. 2-b). Nun beginnt der Ladevor-
gang. Die grünen Kontrollleuchten
zeigen den Ladezustand an.
Hinweis: Die Kontrollleuchten
für Laden und Kalibrieren
werden erst aktiviert, wenn
ein Akku in das Ladegerät ein-
gesetzt ist.

Drücken Sie die Taste »Calibration« re-
chts neben der gelben Kontrollleuchte
ungefähr eine Sekunde lang. Während
dieser Zeit blinkt die gelbe Kontroll-
leuchte. Nach Beendigung der Kalibrier-
ung erlöschen die gelbe und die grünen
Kontrollleuchten und der Ladevorgang
beginnt.
Es wird empfohlen, eine Kalibrierung des
Akkus durchzuführen, damit eine präzise
Messung der Ladekapazität gewährleistet
ist. Gleichwohl ist eine Kalibrierung, auch
wenn die gelbe Kontrollleuchte blinkt,
für den Ladevorgang nicht unbedingt
notwendig und kann jederzeit wieder
abgebrochen werden.
• Wenn Sie die Taste »Calibration« trotz
Blinken der gelben Kontrollleuchte
nicht drücken, wird der Ladevorgang
nach etwa zehn Sekunden gestartet.
• Drücken Sie die Taste »Calibration« er-
neut, um eine begonnene Kalibrierung
abzubrechen. Die Kalibrierung wird
sofort beendet und der Ladevorgang
beginnt.
Problemlösungen
• Wenn die Kontrollleuchten blin-
ken und kein Akku ins Ladege-
rät eingesetzt ist ...
... liegt eine Funktionsstörung des
MH-21 vor. Trennen Sie das Ladegerät
vom Stromnetz und wenden Sie sich
an den Nikon-Kundendienst.
• Wenn alle Kontrollleuchten
gemeinsam blinken, sobald ein
Akku ins Ladegerät eingesetzt
wird ...
... ist ein Fehler beim Laden aufgetre-
ten. Entfernen Sie sofort den Akku
aus dem Ladegerät, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
wenden Sie sich an den Nikon-Kun-
dendienst.
4 Ziehen Sie nach Beendigung des
Ladevorgangs den Akku in ent-
gegengesetzter Richtung wie in
Abbildung 2-b skizziert aus dem La-
degerät. Anschließend ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Sie schützen die Anschlüsse des Lade-
geräts vor Staub, wenn Sie das Gerät
nach Gebrauch mit der Abdeckung
verschließen.
Blinken der gelben Kontroll-
leuchte (Kalibrieren)
Wenn die gelbe Kontrollleuchte nach
Einsetzen des Akkus zehn Sekunden
lang blinkt, muss der Akku kalibriert
werden, damit sein Ladezustand prä-
zise ermittelt werden kann. Die grünen
Kontrollleuchten zeigen die Dauer des
Kalibrierungsvorgangs an:

Merci d‘avoir acheté le chargeur rapide
MH-21, destiné aux accumulateurs Nikon
Li-ion rechargeables EN-EL4. Le MH-21
est doté d‘une fonction d‘étalonnage
des accumulateurs et de témoins de
charge qui s‘allument, clignotent ou
s‘éteignent selon l‘état de charge de
l‘accumulateur.
✔ IMPORTANT
Le Nikon MH-21 permet de rechar-
ger uniquement les accumulateurs
Nikon Li-ion rechargeables EN-EL4.
N‘essayez en aucun cas de rechar-
ger d‘autres types d‘accumulateurs
avec le MH-21.
• N’utilisez pas ce produit avec des accu-
mulateurs non compatibles.
• Enlevez le cordon d’alimentation de la
prise de courant lorsque vous ne vous
en servez pas.

✔ IMPORTANT
L‘accumulateur peut chauffer pen-
dant son uti li sa tion, notamment si
la température am bian te est éle-
vée. Si vous essayez de le recharger
alors qu’elle est encore chaude,
elle ne se rechargera pas ou ne se
re char ge ra que partiellement. Elle
peut éga
le ment mal fonc tion ner.
Attendez que l‘accumulateur re-
froi dis se avant de le char ger.
• L‘accumulateur n’a pas été complète-
ment char gé en usine. Vous devrez le re-
charger totalement avant de l’utiliser.
• Le chargement de l‘accumulateur doit
se faire dans une température ambiante
comprise entre 0 et 40 °C ; dans le cas
contraire, l‘accumulateur risque de ne
pas se charger com plè te ment ou de
mal fonctionner.
• N’essayez pas de recharger un accumu-
lateur déjà chargé, vous risqueriez de
réduire sa capacité de charge.
• Si vous remarquez de la fumée ou une
odeur inhabituelle sortant du chargeur,
dé bran chez-le immédiatement en pre-
nant soin de ne pas vous brûler et ap-
portez-le à votre centre de maintenance
agréé Nikon afi n de le faire vérifi er.

3 Insérez l’accumulateur (contacts en
premier) : faites correspondre l’extré-
mité de l’accumulateur avec le repère
puis faites-le glisser dans la direction
indiquée jusqu’à ce qu’il soit en place
(Figure 2-b). La charge commence
dès que l’accumulateur est inséré.
L’état de charge est indiqué par des
témoins lumineux :
Remarque : les témoins de char-

Pour lancer l’étalonnage, appuyez sur la
commande d’étalonnage (CAL) située à
côté du témoin d’étalonnage pendant
une seconde environ, tant que le témoin
clignote. Une fois l’étalonnage terminé,
les témoins d’étalonnage et de charge
s’éteignent et le processus de charge
commence.
Même si l’étalonnage est recommandé
afi n de mesurer précisément d’état de
charge de l’accumulateur, il n’est pas
indispensable de l’effectuer si le témoin
d’étalonnage clignote. Une fois lancé,
l’étalonnage peut être interrompu à
tout moment.
• Si vous n’appuyez pas sur la commande
d’étalonnage (CAL) alors que le témoin
d’étalonnage clignote, le processus de

Dépannage

… le chargeur MH-21 fait l’objet d’un
mauvais fonctionnement. Débran-
chez-le immédiatement et contactez
un représentant Nikon.

de charge clignotent tous les
deux brusquement lorsqu’un
accumulateur est inséré…
… un problème est survenu au cours
du processus de charge. Retirez l’ac-
cumulateur et débranchez le char-

is equipped with battery calibration fea-
ture and charge lamps that glow, blink, or
turn off according to the battery charge

the guide and then sliding the battery

To start calibration, press the CAL button
next to the calibration lamp for about a
second while the lamp is blinking. When
calibration is complete, the calibration
and charge lamps will turn off and charg-
ing will begin.
Although calibration is recommended for
accurate measurement of battery charge
state, calibration need not be performed
when the calibration lamp blinks. Once
begun, calibration can be interrupted as
desired.
• If the CAL button is not pressed while
the calibration lamp is blinking, normal
charging will begin after about ten
seconds.
• To interrupt calibration, press the cali-
bration button again. Calibration will
end and charging will begin.
Troubleshooting
• If the lamps blink when no bat-
tery is inserted…
…the MH-21 has malfunctioned. Un-
plug the charger immediately and con-
tact a Nikon service representative.
• If the calibration and charge
lamps all fl ash at once when a
battery is inserted…
…a problem occurred during charg-
ing. Remove the battery and unplug
the charger immediately, then contact
a Nikon service representative.
4 When charging is complete, slide
the battery out of the charger in the
reverse direction to that shown in
Figure 2-b. Unplug the charger.
When the charger is not in use, replace
the contact protector to prevent dust
from accumulating on the charger
contacts.
If the Calibration Lamp Blinks
If the calibration lamp blinks for about
ten seconds after a battery is inserted,
the battery needs to be calibrated to
ensure that its charge state can be ac-
curately measured. The time needed
to calibrate the battery is shown by the
charge lamps:

Para iniciar la calibración, pulse el botón
CAL al lado de la luz de calibración du-
