Underwater Photography

The best time for underwater photography is when the sun is directly overhead
(note that pictures taken underwater may have a blue cast). While shooting, avoid
exhaling bubbles into the frame.

The fl ash may be unable to light the entire subject when the camera is zoomed
all the way out or at distances of 30 cm (1 ft.) or less, and its range may vary with
depth and clarity. It may also refl ect from suspended materials, producing bright
spots in the picture. Take a test shot and view the results in the monitor.

The AF-assist lamp can not be used when the camera is in the FJ-CP1.

Audio Playback

Sound may be muffl ed if the camera is in the case during audio playback.
