Voice Memos: Recording and Playback
Brief voice memos can be added to pictures displayed
in full-frame playback (
55). Voice memos can not
be added to movies. Memos are stored on the memory
card as WAV-format sound fi les. During playback, the
presence of a memo is indicated by a
icon.
To Description Press
Volume indicator displayed in monitor when zoom but-
tons are pressed. Four levels are available: high (
),
medium ( ), low ( ), and mute ( ).
Record memo
Memo of up 20 s can be recorded while button is
pressed. Recording ends after about 20 s or when
button is released.
Play memo
If icon appears in fi le information display during play-
back, memo can be played back over the built-in speaker
by pressing
button. Playback ends when entire re-
cording has been played back or button is pressed a
second time.

Pause / resume
playback
Press button to pause playback. Press again to re-
sume.

Confi rmation dialog will be displayed. Press multi selector
up or down to highlight option, press to right to select.
• Select Yes to delete both picture
