Notes About Copying Images

JPEG-, MOV-, WAV-, and MPO-format files can be copied. Files saved in any other format cannot be

copied.

If voice memos (

E69) are attached to images selected for copying, the voice memos are copied

with the images.

Operation is not guaranteed with images captured with another make of camera or that have

been modified on a computer.

When copying images for which Print order (

E60) options are enabled, the print order settings

are not copied. However, when copying images for which Protect (

E65) is enabled, the protect

setting is copied.

Images or movies copied from the internal memory or a memory card cannot be displayed in auto

sort mode (

E10).

If an image added to an album (

E6) is copied, the copied image is not added to the album.

Notes About Copying Images in a Sequence

If you select a key picture of a sequence in Selected images when only the key picture is

displayed for the sequence (

E13), all images in the sequence are copied.

If you press the

d button and select Current sequence after you press the k button and

display images in a sequence as individual images, all images in the sequence are copied.

If you press the

k button and display images in a sequence as individual images, only Card to

camera (memory card to internal memory) image copy is available.

If “Memory contains no images.” Is Displayed

If a memory card that contains no images is inserted into the camera, Memory contains no images.
will be displayed when the camera is switched to playback mode. Press the

d button to select Copy

in the playback menu and copy the images saved in the camera’s internal memory to the memory card.
