This motherboard supports AMD® Athlon XP, Athlon and Duron Socket 462 series CPU. Be careful of CPU orientation when

you plug it into CPU socket (with CPU Overheat Protection function implemented, the system will be automatically power off

when the temperature of CPU reached 97 degree, but works on AthlonXP CPU only).


Note: This picture is for example only; it may not exactly be the same motherboard.

2. Locate Pin 1 in the socket and look for a black dot or cut edge on the

CPU upper interface. Match Pin 1 and cut edge, then insert the CPU into
the socket.
