• If the sensor detects a new vibration within 10

seconds after entering the Small Alarm mode, the
alarm sound will gradually become louder.
In 15 seconds, the alarm sound will reach the
maximum and will last 45 seconds, then it will
return to the Security mode (Loud Alarm mode).

Note
If the Loud Alarm mode occurs 10 times, the security
alarm function is automatically turned off to prevent
battery drain.

Canceling the security alarm
function

Attach the front panel, or set the car ignition
switch to the ACC position.

When you cancel the security alarm function, the
unit displays the number of times that the Loud
Alarm mode has functioned due to vibration/
sound to your car.

If the unit enters the Loud Alarm mode 10 times,
“SECU OFF” is displayed.

Adjusting the security settings

Press and hold the select button.
The setup display appears.

Press the select button repeatedly
until the security alarm settings
appear.

Rotate the control dial to select the
setting.

Press and hold the select button.
The setup is complete and the display returns
to normal play/reception mode.

You can adjust the balance, fader, and subwoofer
volume.

Press the select button repeatedly
until “BAL,” “FAD” or “SUB” appears.
The item changes as follows:

“ATT” is displayed at the lowest setting, and can
be adjusted up to 21 steps.

Rotate the control dial to adjust the
selected item.
After 5 seconds, the setting is complete and
the display returns to normal play/reception
mode.

Customizing the equalizer curve
— EQ3

“CUSTOM” of EQ3 allows you to make your
own equalizer settings.

Select a source, then press (EQ3)
repeatedly to select “CUSTOM.”

Press the select button repeatedly
until “LOW,” “MID” or “HI” appears.

Rotate the control dial to adjust the
selected item.
The volume level is adjustable in 1 dB steps,
from –10 dB to +10 dB.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to adjust the equalizer
curve.
To restore the factory-set equalizer curve,
press and hold the select button before the
setting is complete.
After 5 seconds, the setting is complete and
the display returns to normal play/reception
mode.

Tip
Other equalizer types are also adjustable.

S.LED (Security LED)

Activates the blinking LED of the Security
mode: “ON,” “OFF.”

S.TIME (Security alarm start time)

Selects the time from detaching the front panel
to entering in the Security mode: “15S
(seconds),” “1M (minute),” “3M (minutes).”

S.SENS (Security alarm sensitivity)

Selects the vibration detection sensitivity:
“LOW,” “MID,” “HI.”
