7. On music contents that are not compatible with the
OpenMG Jukebox software
• Under the supervision of SDMI, this software
prohibits recording of music with a copy
prohibition signal.
• Some music recorded with DVD players may
detect copy prohibition signals when handled
with the OpenMG Jukebox. The user may be
notified of such prohibitions.
8. On the upgrading of the supplied OpenMG Jukebox
software
This software was developed in accordance with the
arrangement currently made between Sony and
SDMI. If this arrangement is modified in the future,
some of the software functions may become
unavailable. Sony will offer a pay upgrade kit in this
case.
Notes
• SONY is not liable in case of failure of recording or
downloading of the data, as well as contents broken or
erased due to the malfunction of the computer.
• Please note that the recorded music content must be
restricted within the limits of private use. Use of the
music content beyond this limit requires permission of
the copyright holder.
