Connect your Network Walkman to the computer.
1 Connect the AC power adaptor*.
Connect the supplied AC power adaptor to the DC IN jack on the USB cradle or the recording USB cradle, and
then to a wall outlet.
2 Connect the USB cradle or the recording USB cradle to the computer.
Connect the small connector of the dedicated USB cable into the USB jack on the USB cradle or the recording
USB cradle, and the large connector to a USB port on your computer.

* You can charge the battery without connecting the AC power
adaptor. Connect your Network Walkman and the computer (2).
From the menu, select “USB CHG: ON” (page 43) to enable
charging the battery with a computer. However, frequent use of
USB charge may increase the consumption of the computer’s
built-in battery.
