B There is insufficient memory in your CLIÉ handheld.
Delete the unnecessary data and perform the HotSync

operation once
again.
B Private data is hidden with the Security setting.
The data that is hidden cannot be displayed on the Palm™ Desktop for
CLIÉ software. When you want to display, select
Show Records in
Current Privacy settings of Security and enter the password.
B Make sure that “Intellisync Lite” is installed to synchronize the Date Book,
Address, To Do List and Memo Pad of your CLIÉ handheld with
Microsoft
®
Outlook.

You cannot back up some data by a HotSync
®
operation
B You cannot make a backup for the following applications or data using the
HotSync
®
operation.
• Applications or data installed from a “Memory Stick” media or beamed.
• Some applications and driver files added later, or some data in applications.

each application.
When you want to make a complete backup, use the Memory Stick Backup
application.
