Using the Audio Menu

To select the Audio Menu

Press

Use the joystick to move to the
Audio icon

and press .

Use the joystick to scroll up
and down through the options.

Press to select an option.
That option’s settings appear.

Use the joystick to scroll
through the settings.

Press to select the desired setting.

MENU

to exit the menu screen.

To restore the factory default settings for Treble, Bass, and Balance

Press

RESET

on the remote control when in the Audio menu.

Selecting Audio
Options

The Audio Menu includes the following options:

The TV set has a Standby/Stereo LED. The LED flashes when the set is first
turned on. It glows steadily when:

The TV is standing by for a command (no picture on screen);

A program has stereo sound

Option

Description

Treble

Adjust to decrease or increase higher-pitched sounds.

Bass

Adjust to decrease or increase lower-pitched sounds.

Balance

Adjust to emphasize left or right speaker balance.

Steady Sound

ON

Select to stabilize the volume.

OFF

Select to turn off Steady Sound.

Effect

Simulated

Adds a surround-like effect to mono programs.

SRS

Produces a dynamic three-dimensional sound
for stereo signals.

OFF

Normal stereo or mono reception.

As a shortcut to using the

menus, use the

button on

the remote control to access
the Steady Sound function.
