The minimum possible distance between camcorder and subject while maintaining sharp focus is about 1
cm (about 13/32 in.) for wide angle and about 80 cm (about 31 1/2 in.) for telephoto.
You can magnify images using optical zooming, unless [ SteadyShot] is set to [Active]. Magnifications
available are as follows.
For HDR-CX250/CX260V/PJ260/PJ260V/XR260V: Up to 30 times the original size
For HDR-CX580V/PJ580/PJ580V/PJ600/PJ600V: Up to 12 times the original size

