To set up a dial-up connection (Windows XP)

Connect a telephone cable to your computer. For additional information, see
“Setting up a dial-up Internet connection” in the Internet and Network
Connections chapter of your on-screen VAIO® Computer User Guide.

Click Start, point to All Programs, Accessories, Communications, and
then click New Connection Wizard. The New Connection Wizard
appears.

Click Next.

If it is not already selected, click Connect to the Internet.

Click Next.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
Turning Off Your Computer
Using the power button to turn off your computer may result in loss of data.
Follow the steps below to properly turn off your computer and avoid losing data.
