Stick Tool

Format:

Formats a “Memory Stick Duo.”

Create REC.Folder:

Creates a new folder on a “Memory Stick
Duo.”

Change REC.Folder:

Changes the folder used for recording images.

Copy:

Copies all images recorded in the internal
memory to a “Memory Stick Duo.”

Format:

Formats the internal memory.

Beep:

Selects the beeps produced when you operate
the camera.

Function Guide:

Displays the function guide.

Initialize:

Restores the camera to its default settings.

Calibration:

Corrects misalignment of the response
positions of the buttons on the touch panel.

Housing:

Changes the button operations when the
camera is in the housing (water-proof case).

Demo Mode:

Demonstrates the Smile Shutter and Scene
Recognition function.

USB Connect:

Sets the mode used when connecting the
camera to a computer or a printer.

COMPONENT:

Sets the video signal according to a connected
TV terminal.

Video Out:

Sets the mode according to the video output
system to be connected.

TV TYPE:

Set to the aspect ratio of a TV to be
connected.

Shooting Settings 1

AF Illuminator:

Strobes the fill light when focusing in low
light.

Grid Line:

Displays lines to easily set a subject in a
horizontal or vertical position.

AF Mode:

Selects the auto focus operation mode.

Digital Zoom:

Selects the zoom method for zoom in excess
of optical zoom.

Auto Orientation:

Recognizes the orientation change and saves
the image in the proper orientation.

Auto Review:

Displays the image on the screen for
approximately two seconds after shooting a
still image.

Clock Settings

Sets the date and time.

Language Setting

Selects the language to be used in the menu items, warnings and
messages.
