Turning the Bluetooth function on and off
To connect Bluetooth devices with your Walkman, you first have to turn on the Bluetooth
function.
Depending on the device, the procedure to establish connection may vary. Refer to the
operating instructions of the Bluetooth device.
For details on Bluetooth communications, see “

1. Tap the
(Menu) button with the Home screen displayed, then tap [System
settings].
2. Slide the Bluetooth switch on or off.
Note
To reduce battery consumption, turn off the Bluetooth function when not in use.
The Bluetooth communications antenna is built in to your Walkman. If you cover the
antenna with your hands or other objects while using Bluetooth communications, the
communications quality may be affected.
