Capturing a still image from a movie

You can capture a still image at any point
during movie playback.
Select the media which contains the movies
beforehand, and the media where you want
to save the still images (p. 28).
When you select [MEMORY STICK] to
save the still images, insert “Memory Stick
PRO Duo” media beforehand.
The media you can select depends on your
camcorder model. See the table below.

Notes

• Using the AC Adaptor as the power source is

recommended to prevent the power from being
turned off during operation.

Touch the movie that you want to
play back and capture an image
from.

The selected movie is played back.

captured and stored on the media you
selected.

To capture another still image, touch

and repeat from step 2.

Notes

• The media where you want to save still images

has to have enough free space.

• Recording date and time of created still images

are the same as the recording date and time of
the movies.

• If the movies do not have data code, recording

date and time of still images are saved as the
time you create them from the movies.
