What is HyperThreading technology, and how do I enable or disable it?

Your computer is provided with a CPU supporting HyperThreading technology that enables parallel execution of two
software processes (software threads) on a single processor.

When the HT technology is enabled, some software such as drivers and applications may be disabled. If your computer
does not provide successful operations, you may disable the HT technology. If you disable HT technology, however, your
computer's system performance may be degraded, depending on usage, as the parallel execution capability is disabled.

1.

Click Start from the Windows

®

taskbar, select Turn Off Computer.

2.

Press the power button to turn on your computer, then immediately press the F2 key. The BIOS setup page
