Utilizing the media
(MANAGE MEDIA) category
This category enables you to use the media
for various purposes.
MOVIE MEDIA SET
Set the media for movies (p. 28).
PHOTO MEDIA SET (HDR-UX20)
Set the media for still images (p. 29).
FINALIZE
You can enable discs to be played on other
devices by finalizing them (p. 73).
MEDIA INFO
You can display the information about the
media such as available recording time
(p. 78).
MEDIA FORMAT
You can format the media and recover the
recordable free space (p. 78).
UNFINALIZE
You can unfinalize a disc and record more
images on it (p. 80).
DISC SELECT GUIDE
Your camcorder advises you of the right
disc for your purpose (p. 81).
REPAIR IMG.DB F.
You can repair the management
information in the internal memory (HDR-
UX20) or the “Memory Stick PRO Duo”
(p. 82).
