How to store the battery pack
• If the battery pack is not used for a long time,
fully charge the battery pack and discharge
it on your camcorder once a year to maintain
the proper function. To store the battery pack,
remove it from your camcorder and put it in a
dry, cool place.
• To use the battery pack up on your camcorder,
leave your camcorder in the recording standby
without a disc inserted with the [A. SHUT
OFF] to [NEVER] in the
STANDARD
SET in the SETUP display until the power goes
off (p.69).
Battery life
• The battery life is limited. Battery capacity
drops little by little as you use it more and
more, and as time passes. When the available
battery time is shortened considerably, a
probable cause is that the battery pack has
reached the end of its life. Please buy a new
battery pack.
• The battery life varies according to how
it is stored, the operating conditions, and
environment in which each battery pack is used.
