•
To cancel the
selection, press LIST
twice or BACK once.

If the SEEK/AMS
mode is set to “Item
sel,” you can select
the desired disc with
SEEK/AMS when
the list appears in the
display (see page 45).
Note
The following
indications may appear
in the disc name list.
• “NO DISC”: There is
no disc in the given
disc slot.
• “********”: The disc
is not labeled.
• “?”: The unit has not
verified the disc
information.
Locating a disc by name
Use this function to locate a disc by its name.
(To add titles to discs, see page 25).

While playing a CD or an MD, press LIST.
The Disc name list appears.

Press >, ., /, or ? to select the disc.

Press ENTER.
Playback starts from the first track of the disc.
On track name list
Each time you press LIST, the display changes as follows:
” Disc name list* ” Track name list**
Cancel “
* Only when CD/MD unit is connected.
** When CD unit with CD TEXT function is selected.
This list displays track names contained on CD TEXT discs
and MDs with labeled tracks. Since this unit does not
support track labeling, when playing non-CD TEXT discs
or MDs with unlabeled tracks, “********” appears instead
of the track name in the track name list.
To select a disc using the rotary remote
Push in and release DISC/PRESET to display the disc
name list or track name list.
Push and rotate the control to select the disc or track from
the list. After about 5 seconds, the normal display
reappears.
