• For a DVD-VR, VIDEO CD, Super Audio CD, CD,

DATA CD, or DATA DVD, the system remembers
the resume playback point for the current disc.

• The resume point is cleared when you select another

disc.

• Resume Play does not work during Program Play and

Shuffle Play.

• This function may not work properly with some

discs.

Tip

• To play from the beginning of the disc, press x twice,

then press H.

To enjoy a disc that you played
before with resume playback

(Multi-disc Resume)

This system recalls the point where you stopped
the disc the last time it was played and resumes
playback from that point the next time you insert
the same disc. When the resume playback
memory is full, the resume playback point for
the earliest disc is deleted.
To activate this function, set [MULTI-DISC
RESUME] in [SYSTEM SETUP] to [ON]. For
details, see “[MULTI-DISC RESUME] (DVD
VIDEO/VIDEO CD only)” (page 57)

Note

• This system stores the resume points in memory for

up to 10 discs.

• To play from the beginning of the disc, press x twice,

then press H.

Using Play Mode

You can play the contents of a disc in the order
you want by arranging the order of the tracks on
the disc to create your own program. You can
program up to 99 tracks.

Note

• You can program tracks on the current disc only.
