2. Turn the on/off switch to “1” or “2”. (The power indication

becomes red.)

 Select “1” for a low temperature to make soft curls. Select “2”

for a high temperature to make tight curls.

 Invisible negative ions are released.

Curling techniques

Before curling

1. Straighten your hair.
2. Moisten your hair lightly with styling products, water or a

steaming towel.

 When using a styling product, spray it uniformly on your hair

from a distance of approximately 10 cm so that the surface
and inside of your hair become slightly damp.

 The curling iron will not work effectively on wet hair.

1. Take about a 5 cm wide strand of hair. Hold the curling iron

vertically against the strand of hair with the press plate on the
outside and then open the press plate.

 Take only as much hair as the length of the press plate can

hold.

2. Place the strand of hair at the base of the curling iron. Roll the

curling iron inwards towards your face and then hold it in place
for 10 seconds.

 Be sure to keep the press plate at least 3 cm away from your

skin.

 Be careful not to split the ends of your hair.

3. Open the press plate and then slide the curling iron downwards

to keep the curls in place.
