■ Over-discharge prevention

function

• When using the lantern with the

LAMP/LED selector in the “LAMP”
position (i.e., when using as a
fluorescent lamp), the lantern will
automatically turn the fluorescent
lamp off and switch to the LED
light if the battery voltage falls
below a certain level. (The LAMP/
LED selector will remain in the
“LAMP” position.) This behavior is
a sign that the battery pack needs
to be recharged. (LN and R type

power for about 60 minutes of LED
operation before the lantern turns off
automatically.)

• The LED operating time varies with

the amount of charge remaining in
the battery pack and other conditions.
