Pull out the mains lead and put the plug into the socket

outlet.

Gently press the center of the switch pedal to turn ON

the appliance. Press the pedal again to turn it OFF.

Power control

The suction power can be adjusted depending on the

type of fl ooring.

The symbols on the controls indicate the type of use the

settings are suitable for.

:Curtains, Lightweight fabrics

:Upholstery, Cushions

:Parquet fl ooling

:Shallow-pile carpet

:Deep-pile carpet

Turn the rotary selector to the desired suction power

setting.

Switching between carpet and fl ooring

Flooring: Press lever A

Carpet: Press lever B

The curved wand of the hose is attached with a manual

suction regulator, which allows you to reduce the suction

level easily.

The dusting brush can be set between the telescopic

wand and the fl oor nozzle if you want. Remove the fl oor

nozzle by pressing the release pedal and you can use

the dusting brush easily anytime.

After you fi nish vacuuming, remove the plug from the

socket outlet and press the cord rewind pedal.

When rewinding the mains lead, press the cord rewind

pedal by holding the plug so that it does not become

damaged.

Storage position

Slide the wand holder straight into the wand supporter

on the under side of the main body.

Park position

For short breaks during vacuuming, slide the wand

holder straight into the wand supporter on the rear side

of the main body.

NOTE: When you use park position, we suggest that

you switch the appliance off.

B - HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR CLEANER

Insert the connection pipe into the hose inlet until it

locks.

When removing the hose, push the two connection

buttons down while pulling out the connection pipe.

NOTE: Do not bend, pull and step on the hose or put

anything heavy on it.

Insert the curved wand into the upper end of the

telescopic wand.

Twist the telescopic wand so that the round hole will fi t

into the tab on the curved wand. (When removing the

curved wand, push the tab down while pulling out the

telescopic wand.)

Attach the fl oor nozzle to the other end.(Removal as per

reverse procedure)

Hold the grip and the extension adjuster and extend the

telescopic wand to the required length.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

Before using the vacuum cleaner, please observe these basic precautions.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or

lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains lead or plug is damaged or faulty.

• If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

• Unplug from the socket outlet when not in use and before cleaning the appliance or undertaking maintenance operations.

• Turn off the appliance before removing the plug. Do not pull on the mains lead, always pull on the plug body itself.

• Hold the plug, when rewinding the mains lead.

• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.

• Do not use wet fi lters after wash, make sure they are completely dry to avoid damaging the cleaner.

• Do not vacuum fl ammable or combustible substances, neither use in areas where they may be present.

• Do not vacuum hot ash, embers or large and sharp objects.

• Do not vacuum water or other liquids.

• Keep the vacuum cleaner away from heat sources such as radiators, fi res, direct sunlight, etc.

• This vacuum cleaner is fi tted with a thermal cut-out device which automatically turns off the cleaner to prevent overheating of the

motor. When this happens, disconnect the cleaner from the socket outlet and check the dust compartment and fi lters as they may

be full or clogged with fi ne dust. Check for any other obstructions in the hose or tube. After removing the obstruction, leave the

cleaner to cool down until the thermal cut-out resets after approximately 60 minutes.
