Press MENU.

Notes
• Do not change the channel and the input selection while recording with a

VCR through the Ú (Monitor/TV output) jacks. If you change the
channel and the input selection, it also changes the channel and input
selection that you are recording.

• The signals of the PROGRAM INDEX, STROBE, PIP modes, and the

Teletext broadcast cannot be output even though “MONITOR” is selected.

listen to Dolby Surround encoded sound.

listen to sound that emphasizes the bass audio effect of
a movie theater.

listen to dynamic and clear sound that emphasizes the
low and high sound.

listen to sound that emphasizes voice.

listen to sound that spreads out over a large area,
giving the feeling of being at a concert hall.

listen to monaural sound with a stereo-like effect.

turn off the “surround” sound.
