CLEANING

AeroBeds
We recommend that you do not let the plush surface of your AeroBed

®

get wet.

Repeated exposure to water or other liquids may cause damage to the plush surface
that will not be covered by your warranty. Should liquid come in contact with the
plush surface, blot liquid dry and use a damp cloth to remove any stain. Let surface
air dry completely.

You may clean the PVC on the sides and bottom of your AeroBed with a mild
dishwashing detergent or household cleaner. Do not use strong chemicals or other
compounds. Allow your bed to air dry completely after cleaning and before storing.

Intelliwarmth Mattress Pad

Turn controller switch to “0”, unplug cord from the wall outlet, and then unplug cord
from the mattress pad before washing the mattress pad.

MACHINE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Use a small amount of mild laundry soap.

• Fill tub with warm water to wash, cold water for rinse.

• Wash mattress pad on gently cycle, and spin dry.

HAND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Use a small amount of mild laundry soap in warm water.

• Let mattress pad soak for 5 minutes.

• Gently move the mattress pad up and down for 5 minutes.

• Do not rub, scrub, twist or wring mattress pad.

• Rinse thoroughly in cool water by moving up and down.

DRYING INSTRUCTIONS

• Machine dry on LOW until dry– make sure the mattress pad tumbles freely.

• If line drying, do not use clothes pins which might pinch the heating elements.

Suggestion: drape over two lines.

• Do not plug in mattress pad while damp or wet.

• Do not iron.

• Never use commercial dryers at the laundromat which may be too hot.

TO CLEAN CONTROLLER:

• Wipe gently with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.

• Do not wash or immerse in liquid.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Very rarely, your AeroBed

®

may fail to inflate properly. Should this occur, please use

the following check list.

1. If you Aero Bed Doesn’t appear to be inflating:

First, make sure the bed is plugged into an active electrical
outlet.

Push the control wand’s inflate button firmly.

2. If air leakage occurs:

Carefully inspect the bed for a puncture or tear. If damaged, repair using the kit
included with your bed. Follow all instructions and warnings included in the kit.

3. If Intelliwarmth Mattress Pad fails for warm:

Make sure that the controller switch is set to “0”, unplug your mattress pad from
the wall outlet and make sure the wall outlet is 110-120V and has power. Check
the mattress pad connector and the controller plug to make certain the controller
plug is inserted snugly into the mattress pad connector. Plug the controller into
the wall outlet and make sure that the wall connection is snug. Turn the controller
switch to any numerical setting above “0”. The numerical indicator light should
come on.

4. If the mattress pad fails to warm up, or if improper operation of the mattress pad

is observed, discontinue its use immediately and consult Customer Service. The
mattress pad may have been permanently damaged and is now inoperable.

5. Permanent damage may be caused by:

• Folding or bunching of the mattress pad during use.

• Pinching, piercing or cutting of the heating elements

• Exposing the controller to moisture, excessive impact, or excessive heat.

6. If trouble persists, please phone our Customer Service center for assistance.
