The Rescue Aero Model portable power packs are specially designed to

provide starting assistance to light aircraft and service vehicles commonly

used at airports served by FBO providers. Each of these power packs is

equipped with an SB type electrical connector which can be plugged into

a connector harness designed to fit Piper-style receptacles, AN2551 3 pin

connectors or equipped with conventional jumper clamps that can connect

to battery terminals and vehicle grounds.

The Rescue 5020 is a wheeled cart style porta-

ble power pack with the auxiliary aero connector

mounted on the side of the cabinet. An extension

harness (602560) is plugged into the connector

on the power pack and the appropriate connec-

tion harness can then be attached. Using the

voltage selection connections on the front of the

unit, the operator can choose whether the aero

output is 12V or 24V.

The Rescue 2420 is a hand-carried,

dual battery, 24V power pack specif-

ically designed to start aircraft and

fitted with a 24V Cessna connector.

The Rescue 1220 is a hand-carried,

dual battery, 12V power pack fitted

with extension cables that terminate

to an SB type connector.

See page 4 for connector harness

options.

• Incorrect or mismatched voltage connections can damage the airplane, vehicle, or

portable power pack.

• Make sure that 12V systems are only connected to 12V power packs and 24V systems

are only connected to 24V power packs.
