2. Slide the driver half of the coupling guard toward the pump.
3. Remove the nut, bolt, and washers from the driver half of the coupling guard.
4. Remove the driver-side end plate.
5. Remove the driver half of the coupling guard:
a) Slightly spread the bottom apart.
