1. Remove spare tire. On vehicles equipped with a third brake light, remove wiring cover inside the tailgate.
Note where each wire is attached, then disconnect and route wires out of the cover bracket.

2. Pass Third Brake Light wiring through tail gate. Remove Third Brake Light assembly.
